The sugar chain that is the third life chain that follows the nucleic acid and the protein is one of the high-priority issues in the post genome that completes the human genome project. The function in the life phenomenon is expected to bring new development to a new medicine in the future to analyze a sugar chain structure not knowable only by the genetic code accurately, and to be examined.

　GLYENCE is a venture company of the university departure that was born on February 3, 2004 based on the science and technology seeds brought up by Prof. Koichi Kato and Co Takahashi professors emeritus in the Nagoya City University graduate school pharmacology research course that is the specialist of the sugar chain structure analysis.
